Bass in your Face LONDON

Following my statement on him below check it out for yourself!

My Fav’s that should be your Fav’s

At the moment there are a few bands I have recently found who have made my life brilliant!

I want to spread news about them as they deserve to be followed and loved. They are as follows:

Alex Clare - Seems to have become quite well known since I found him (no link i am sure) His music manages to blend a superb mix of dubstep wob and singer song writer class together with hints of other genres even Jazz. I am in the process of reviewing his album ‘The lateness of the hour’ and hope to post it before the end of the week. Definitely worth a search though!

Jake Bugg - I found this young lad when watching the TV and the IPA advert came on. It had this song on throughout it and I needed to find out who sang it. At being only 18 (I think :/) He is a MASSIVE talent. Its really refreshing to hear someone his age with a voice so smooth yet sounding so 60’s and is someone who I am going to keep up to date with. Expect big things from this kid, You heard it here first!

Various Cruelties - I have posted recently how much I love this band. I struggle to put in to words what it is exactly what I like about them but they are truly special. They are superbly punchy, classy and the singer’s voice is just niche. I want to compare it to Paolo Nutini on a more up beat scale however not as drunk. They are also going to blast into mainstream soon I can feel it in my waters!

Tom Moriarty - I found Tom Moriarty whilst listening to Jake Bugg and Various Cruelties. Its your standard singer songwriter chilled everyday music but its the voice that makes this lad so so different. Its deep and crisp and just perfect for the music that’s created. Songs entitled ‘Smile if you wanna get high’ for example and ‘There’s a fire in the dolls house’ are already in my playlist for 2012 as they are so well written and musically created. I can’t wait to see more of what’s to come from Tom and can’t urge you enough to search him and see what he has to offer. Great Talent.

That’s all at the moment however if you have any artists for me to melt my ears into, any genre any sort, then hit me up, I really love hearing what other suggestions people have so send them my way.

fudging beautiful!
